Vanne Home is a boutique Hawaii-Based Design Practice offering a wide range of design services, real estate staging, and construction management. Each project undertaken showcases a deep understanding of the client's needs and a commitment to delivering excellence.
Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that there is no more sacred place than home - it is where you eat, where you sleep, where you laugh, where you cry, and most importantly, where you love. We strive to consistently curate a rhythmic alchemy of light, texture, movement and form to create fine-tuned designs that exemplify not only purpose but also beauty. Our work is deeply informed by the principles of neuroaesthetics—the science of how our surroundings shape emotion, cognition, and well-being—allowing us to design spaces that feel as good as they look.
While based on the magical isle of Kauai, Vanne Home welcomes all inquiries, both local and long distance.

Principal Designer
Kari Van Way is the founder and visionary behind Vanne Home. Kari is known for her unparalleled eye for detail and a boundless love for design, both of which are evident in the finished product of her projects. Her approach to interior design isn't just about aesthetics; it's about creating spaces that reflect the unique rhythm and flow of people's lives.
While raised in coastal southern California, her Bohemian heart found her way to Hawaii when she was young. A mother to four humans and a handful of furry beasts, she is well-versed in all things home and believes that one’s environment should enrich and elevate those who inhabit it. Kari’s deep connection to nature, affinity for all things vintage, and (borderline obsessive) organizational skills, lend to a style that is raw yet refined, modern yet inviting, mature yet playful.
